WEST 22nd: Places To Be Tour
with Where's West?
9.29 Tuesday (Rock) The Crocodile presents: WEST 22nd: Places To Be Tour with Where’s West? 7pm, All Ages Nectar Lounge 412 N 36th St www.nectarlounge.com West 22nd is an Austin-based rock band formed by friends who met at the University of Texas with a singular mission: become the next great rock band. They call their sound carousel rock, a style that spins through genre, emotion, and energy without losing its center. The term captures the tension at the heart of their music: controlled chaos that is sometimes dizzying, sometimes grounding, and always unforgettable. After a breakout EP and a debut album that have amassed over 75 million streams worldwide, West 22nd made one thing clear - they are not here to blend in. Their lyrics are autobiographical, their shows are electric, and their ambition is unmistakable. They have taken the stage at ACL, sold out numerous dates on their debut headlining tour, and built a fanbase that shouts every word back at them. West 22nd is not chasing nostalgia or trends. They are writing what comes next. And if you have ever felt a chorus hit at exactly the right moment, you already understand.
